Are the results of genetic tests effective, relevant and actionable?

Updated: Sep 26, 2019

Of 2000 customers at an US medical institution received a genetic test, 3% received "significant" findings of how they are at higher risks for certain diseases, and can benefit from treatment and/or regular screenings. In other words, 3% were empowered to take actions they otherwise wouldn't know and lowered their risk.

Genetic tests are particularly useful in identifying genetic deficiencies you may have, say in certain nutrients and vitamin intake, and your risks in certain diseases. Such insights allow you to take early actions and improve your health.

Besides, who doesn't want to wake up feeling energised, healthy and ready for the day? All it takes is just a little bit better awareness of our nutritional need.
